Southern Tier Professional Photographers (STPP) is an affiliate of The Professional Photographers' Society of New York, Inc., and Professional Photographers of America, Inc. The mission of this site is to assist those looking for the services of a professional photographer in the Southern Tier of New York, and elsewhere. Secondly, to provide information about our society to both the public and those interested in becoming a member, and lastly, to serve as a newsletter for our membership.

STPP member photographers represent a wide range of photographic talents and specialties from wedding, portrait, commercial, to copy and restoration. STPP members network and refer among its members to assure you will find the right photographer for your needs.

STPP provides education in photographic artistry and craftsmanship as well as professional business practices for all its members. All members of the STPP must, without reservation, subscribe to the Code of Ethics. The PPSNYS is a not-for-profit association formed in 1905 solely to instruct its members and the general public in photography; and to create, foster, promote and encourage the exchange of information among its members and the public. The PPA is a worldwide association that exists to assist its members in achieving their professional, artistic and fraternal goals; promote public awareness of the profession; and to advance the making of images in all of its disciplines as an art, a science and a visual recorder of history.
