First of all, the section is crammed full of learning activities. Our speakers and events between now and July cover making award winning and customer appreciation prints, high school senior photography and marketing, studio lighting and portraitures, and new studio equipment and sales equipment. Our safari in July with wedding models will be a blast and our relaxing picnic in August will have tasty outdoor foods and beverages. The state activities include the convention in Albany at the wonderful Desmond Hotel at the end of March with about eight speakers, a few relaxing parties, and a huge trade show. The photo workshop in July is the greatest deal going, with education, relaxation, and camaraderie, all in an exciting week in Geneva, New York at Hobart College. Our Southern Tier Section seems to have the best selection of speakers and activities in the state, bar none. We can increase our experiences by inviting more area professional photographers to our meeting, as this increases our experiences and chances to learn…learning is the name of the game my friends… Have a good month, Jim

Image Critique Guidelines: An image critique is held at each monthly meeting. Images may be from any category. Images must be in high quality .jpg format. Vertical images can be up to 7.5 inches high at 100 pixels per inch. Horizontal images can be up to 10 inches wide but no more than 7.5 inches high at 100 pixels per inch. Images will be pasted into a 7.5 x10 in black background (power point screen size) to fill in blank space around the images. Please send the images as an attachment to Robert Trautman at info@RTPhotoStudioSite.com no later than the Sunday before the meeting and include a title for each image submitted.
